BAM to Host ‘Into the Woods’ Reunion on June 21

Fans of Into the Woods rejoice: on Sunday, June 21 BAM will host a special reunion with the original Broadway cast and creative team including Stephen Sondheim (Composer), James Lapine (Book and Direction), Bernadette Peters (Witch), Joanna Gleason (Baker’s Wife), Chip Zien (Baker), Robert Westerberg (Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince), Kim Crosby (Cinderella), Danielle Ferland (Little Red Riding Hood) and Ben Wright (Jack).

The afternoon and evening of discussion, Q&A and performances will be moderated by Broadway veteran and “Daily Show” regular Mo Rocca, all under the musical direction of Tedd Firth.

One of the most beloved musicals in the Sondheim songbook, and the contemporary American musical theatre cannon, it’s been a major year for Into the Woods, with the release of Disney’s film adaptation last Christmas, the off-Broadway revival produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company and the open-air adaptation playing this summer at The Muny in St. Louis, MO.
